Why the King James Bible

King James BIble

The Preserved Word of God

The King James Bible is God’s preserved, inerrant, infallible, perfect, and inspired Word. It’s the only Bible which still today faithfully uplifts and exalts the deity of Jesus and the Godhead.

The King James Bible is not a “version” of the Bible…it is THE HOLY BIBLE, the Word of God. Written in the beautiful English language, it is a superb work of literary art, to say the least. God knew what He was doing when He had His inspired Words translated into the king’s English, giving us His inspired Words in the English language, which is recognized as the universal language of the world. That’s why God preserved His Words into the inspired King James Bible for these Last Days. There will not be another translation of the Bible before the Lord Jesus Christ returns at the Rapture.

God is NOT the Author of confusion. 1 Corinthians 14:33 says, “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.” God only wrote ONE BOOK. Christians are encouraged and desirous to memorize God’s inspired Word…it is the beloved and trustworthy King James Bible that Christians memorize and cherish.

God’s Word is a Powerful Weapon

There is no weapon on earth more powerful than the Sword of God’s Spirit, which is the Bible (Ephesians 6:17). It is critically important that every believer memorize scripture. In Psalm 119:11, the psalmist wrote, “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.” It is important that every believer memorize helpful key passages of scripture, to help them live for the Lord and fight against evil. There is no friend like the Bible, especially in time of tribulation and need. The Holy Spirit of God reminds us of scripture that we have read or heard to help us. “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.(John 14:26)

Corrupt Bible Versions

The word “Godhead” is found 3 times in the King James Bible (Acts 17:29, Romans 1:20, and Colossians 2:9). However, more than 20 corrupted Bible versions (including NIV, ESV, and NASB) have completely REMOVED the word “Godhead”. Since the word “Trinity” is not found in the Bible, the word Godhead is critically important.

There have been an exorbitant amount of English translations which have been published, mainly in the past few decades. Satan is constantly coming out with a “new” Bible version – deliberately REWORDING scripture and sometimes completely REMOVING verses pointing to Jesus’ deity – to purposely confuse the reader, making it much more difficult to memorize scripture. Satan is the master of deception, intentionally causing confusion to blind the masses by publishing so many decoy Bibles to lure people away from THE TRUTH. That is his plan. People all over the world are utterly confused concerning which English Bible is God’s Word. This is an absolute disgrace.

To corrupt the Bible is to corrupt the way people view the Lord. Jesus teaches us in John 5:39 to Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. But if you have a corrupted version of the Bible, then you are not learning about Christ the way you should. Jesus’ words are spirit and life (John 6:63). Jesus is called THE WORD OF GOD in Revelation 19:13; hence, we ought to DEFEND the written Word as much as we would defend the Lord Himself in Person.

One of the most well-known verses is John 3:16:For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.In most modern Bible versions, the word “begotten” has been REMOVED, implying that Jesus is God’s only Son. The word begotten means biological, so in truth, Jesus is the only BEGOTTEN Son of God since He is literally God’s biological Son. The Bible calls every believer a son. “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” (John 1:12). Therefore, it is heresy to remove the word begotten. “Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,” (Ephesians 1:5). All born-again believers are adopted children.

Another example is in John 7:8, Jesus tells his brethren, Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast; for my time is not yet full come. And John 7:10, “But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret.” This accurately states that Jesus delayed going up to the feast because His time was not yet come (the religious leaders hated Him, so He had to teach and work as quietly as possible). The corrupt versions have REMOVED the first instance of “yet”, making it seem as though Jesus is a liar. These corrupt versions of the Bible assassinate His Person, deity, traits, and character.

How Important is the Bible?

Consider that the first thing Satan ever attacked in the Garden of Eden was Eve’s confidence in the Word of God. In Genesis 2:16-17, God had given Adam a command: “And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” Then in Genesis 3:1, Satan said unto the woman, “Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” and Genesis 3:4, “And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:” Basically, Satan was saying, “I know what God said, but it’s not true.” Satan lied, as he always does, because the Devil is the father of all lies (John 8:44). There are many liars today, and God hates a lying tongue (Proverbs 6:16-19). There are preachers who deceive their congregations, claiming the power to be able to absolve men’s sins. No one can forgive sin except God (Psalms 32:5, Mark 2:5-7, Luke 23:34), 1 John 1:9, 1 John 2:1-2).

God’s Holy Word is very precious to me, and I believe that the King James Bible is INSPIRED and PERFECT in every way. Every Word is there because God wanted it there. Jesus said in Matthew 4:4, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.If I am to live by EVERY WORD OF GOD, then I absolutely must have an EVERY WORD Bible.

Though some of the words may be difficult to understand when reading the King James Bible, it is still far superior to the modern versions. It is much better to put effort into understanding a message that is full of TRUTH than to be fed easily understood lies. This King James Bible Dictionary is a very handy reference tool for looking up difficult words used in the King James Bible because of its thorough explanation of the many definitions of each English word used at the time.

If you don’t have a King James Bible, get one! If you have a King James Bible, love, cherish, defend, and memorize it, for the Word of God is our Life (John 6:63, John 1:1-3, John 1:14, Hebrews 4:12, 1 Peter 1:23).
